You don’t have to pay to come to our walks, but SSWG fundraises for Celia Cross Greyhound Trust and Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare and we ask everyone to please donate at each walk if you can.
As of 19 April 2025, SSWG has raised £25,070 with every penny of that passed onto the charities. We bring a donation bucket to every walk for cash and have a PayPal account for those who would rather do it online.

Tracking our fundraising efforts
I run an Excel tracker where I log the money raised on every walk. It is hosted on my OneDrive, but in the interests of transparency, anyone can access it here. Within this document, there are tabs detailing donations at each walk in 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2020. For 2018 and 2019, the running total tally was recorded in Facebook posts after each meet up.
